AnyWear Empire Maxi
I purchased this in green to have a dress to wear with a green & blue shrug I had purchased. What a great choice. It is slightly big under the arms but the shrug hides this - if I could sew would be easy fix. I have received numerous compliments on this dress and the color. It is very flattering.

I really felt compelled to write this review, given the negative reviews that this dress received. It is by far the best maxi dress I've bought from Catherine's yet (and I have several). The fabric has a nice, substantial weight - makes it look expensive. And the cut is just perfect. I am not busty and found the cut of the chest area to be only slightly large. The ruching in that area helps to camouflage any excess fabric. I also liked that it runs an inch shorter than most other maxis this season (which have all been too long for me at 5'5"). In sum, this is an extremely flattering and expensive-looking dress that drapes nicely. You will not be disappointed.

Love this dress
Love this dress can be worn for casual or dressed up with jewelry for night! The weight is good on this dress not so thin you can see thru like so many of the materials lately! A little bit large in the bust but nothing a good seamstress can't fix, certainly not a deal breaker! Would recommend this!

Beautiful dress. Wrong color depicted in photo
I have loved every single dress I have purchased online from Catherine's beautiful collection. This is the first time in months of buying that I have been disappointed. The fit of this dress runs large. I am not busty and it fits poorly there as well as oddly in other areas such as being too long. I am tall so I rarely have that problem.
Also, the fabric of the dress is much too HEAVY for a summer dress. Compared to all of the other maxis I purchased (and there have been so many in the past year) this one is not for summer due to the weight of the fabric.
Finally, and most importantly, the lovely Green shade depicted in the photo is not true to life. In the picture, it appears to be a minty green, In reality, it's a kelly green.
