Soutache Crinkle Peasant Top
Nice, Neat Shirt
Good for work or church, a casual dinner date, lunch with friends-- what I call "something nice to put on", a step up from a tee. I loved the dark maroon color, and the design of the front. The material is that crinkly stuff that won't need ironing. My only advice is to size up, because the material makes it scrunch up, so that when you put it on, you have to stretch it over yourself. So unless you want cling, size up one size.

exquisite fabric - tiny airy pattern woven in
have not washed it yet and fear for it when i do but it is beautiful and very cool. first time since it got hot here that i was not sweating before i got to work.
plum color is more maroon, which i don't usually like but the shade is right in this fabric. Sleeves are generous but not poofy and elbow length on me. neckline is neat and it does not slide down all day. Tthe soutache on the solid fabric is very nice. I wore it to work in a law office with black slacks and simple silver earrings and got complements all day. i would love more colors in this. red, purple. two or three shades of green, cobalt blue.
i am 5 ft 9, 350, 46G and this fits perfectly. i wish everybody who takes the time to review here would share your
'dimensions" so the rest of us can really get some input on how these clothes might fit us. Shipping is too high to order the wrong size.
I've been buying at catherine's since it was catherine's stout shoppe in green hills, nashville tn. 1973
